A super cool entrepreneurship and skill development program just kicked off in Phek! It’s all about banana fibre extraction and handicrafts training, and it’s going to be a blast. The Phek Police, Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre (NTTC), and Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS) teamed up to organize this awesome program to help educated youth find job opportunities. The training started with a bang on Wednesday at the Town Council Hall in Phek.

The opening ceremony was epic! Dr. Pritpal Kaur, the Superintendent of Police in Phek, gave an inspiring speech. She told all the participants to work hard and focus on entrepreneurship instead of getting involved in drugs or other bad stuff. She believes that starting their own businesses can give these young people amazing chances in life and even make society a better place.

During the training session, an NTTC instructor named Nisevor Niphi shared some valuable insights about the program and explained what NTTC is all about. The participants also got to see a cool demonstration on banana fibre extraction and handicrafts making. It was so much fun!

People from all the different wards in Phek Town joined in on the training session. The event was chaired by Seyiengoi Soho, the president of PTYS, and the opening prayer was led by the Pastor of Police Baptist Church in Phek. It was a fantastic start to an exciting program!
