Cozy Pub Loved by Game of Thrones Star Up for Sale

A charming log-fire pub that has been a favorite of Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is up for sale. The Talbot at Knightwick, located near Worcester in the beautiful Teme Valley, is on the market for £1.1 million. Harington, who played Jon Snow in the HBO series, even worked at the pub as a teenager. The renowned country pub, known for its log fires and cozy nooks, has been serving locals since the 15th Century. It has two large public bars, a dining room, a function room, 10 en-suite bedrooms, a staff cottage, and an extensive beer garden. The sale also includes the Teme Valley Brewery, which produces its own Teme Valley beers. The brewery, established in 1997, is famous for its cask and bottle-conditioned beers. The Talbot has a Grade II listed property status and is situated on the banks of the River Teme. It has gained an outstanding reputation over the past 40 years under the careful stewardship of Annie Clift and her family. In 2018, it was awarded the Good Pub Guide Award for Country Dining.
