In this role, you will oversee the finance, administrative, and human resource functions of World Relief Sudan. You will be responsible for managing a financial portfolio of approximately $20 million per year in a complex and rapidly changing humanitarian environment. Sudan is currently facing one of the most challenging humanitarian crises in the world, and your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of our operations. As the Finance Director, you will work closely with the Country Director and the Home Office to develop strategies for financial sustainability and coordinate with various stakeholders. You will also play a critical role in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting the growth of the finance, administrative, and human resource teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in international relief and development work. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. You should also have excellent analytical skills and be proficient in financial management software.
