AMD Partners with 11 bit Studios for Exciting New Game Titles

AMD has partnered with 11 bit Studios, the developer behind popular games like Frostpunk and This War of Mine. This exclusive partnership will see AMD become the technology partner for several upcoming titles, including The Invincible and Codename Project 8. The collaboration will extend beyond desktops to include mobile, handheld, and console systems. AMD’s hardware, known for its powerful RDNA2/RDNA3 architectures, is already used in major consoles and handheld systems. The partnership will allow 11 bit Studios to optimize their games for AMD hardware, including Ryzen CPUs and Radeon GPUs. One of the exciting technologies that will be incorporated into their games is AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3). This technology will enhance the performance and visual fidelity of the games on AMD processors and GPUs. The first titles to feature FSR 3 will be Alters and Frostpunk 2, which are yet to be released. To showcase the capabilities of their upcoming game Invincible, 11 bit Studios shared a gameplay video captured using AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RX 7900 XTX GPU at 8K resolution. The game is set to launch next Monday.
