Celebrating Success in Northern Ireland’s Motor Industry

The Charles Hurst Group was the big winner of the night, taking home eight awards at the Northern Ireland Motor Industry Awards. The event, sponsored by Used Cars NI, celebrated the achievements of the local automotive industry. Hosted by Pamela Ballantine and Curtis McCosh, the gala awards ceremony saw over 100 entries across 19 categories. Caroline Willis from Shelbourne Motors won the Inspirational Women of the Year award, while Saltmarine Cars collected two individual awards. Hilton Car Sales and Roadside Garages were also recognized for their excellence. John Mulholland Motors received praise for their community campaign, raising over £150k for a local cancer charity. The event director, Sasha Jeffrey, expressed her congratulations to all the finalists and winners, highlighting the high levels of customer service and innovation in Northern Ireland’s motor industry. Stephen Kelly, CEO of Used Cars NI, emphasized the importance of recognizing the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses in the local automotive sector. The awards were judged by industry experts, including Sue Robinson from the National Franchised Dealers Association. Robinson commended the exceptional quality of entries and the commitment to excellence demonstrated by the dealerships, sales teams, and technicians. She celebrated the triumphs of the winners and their contributions to the Northern Ireland motor trade.
