Unleashing Creativity: University of Exeter’s New Business Playground

Hey guys, check this out! The University of Exeter just opened a super cool new space for all the future business hotshots. It’s called the Creative Quadrant (CQ), and it’s all about getting students to think outside the box and come up with awesome business ideas. The CQ is part of the Exeter Business School, and it’s all about hands-on learning and practical innovation. They even use stuff like Lego Play, design sprints, and rapid prototyping to teach students how to be super creative and entrepreneurial.

The big opening was done by David Holberton, who’s a big supporter of the university, and some top-notch folks from the university were there too. They’re all about making sure students get the best education in entrepreneurship, and this new space is a big part of that.

Professor Alexandra Gerbasi, who’s a big deal at the university, said that the CQ is all about doing things differently and being creative. They want students to have fun while they learn and come up with new ideas that can make a real impact on the world. And David Holberton was totally stoked about the whole thing, saying how excited he is to see all the amazing ideas that will come out of this new space.

The event was a big deal, with some seriously successful business leaders showing up to check out the new space. They’re all part of the university’s International Advisory Board and Business Alumni Committee, so you know they mean business.

The CQ has already hosted some awesome workshops, like a week-long hackathon where students came up with cool prototypes to solve problems in Exeter. They’ve also been working on tackling big global issues, like how companies can make a positive impact on the world while still growing their businesses.

This new space is just one part of the university’s commitment to providing top-notch teaching spaces for students.
