The Great Electric Car Debate: A Closer Look

1 min read

Americans are really into their cars and the environment. The debate over switching to electric vehicles is heating up, especially with Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s plan to make car manufacturers produce more electric vehicles. Some folks are all for it, wanting to speed up the shift to electric cars to combat climate change. Others, though, don’t buy into climate change and don’t want anything to do with electric cars.

I care about the environment and cutting emissions, just like the next person. I think the governor’s plan is a step in the right direction, but I reckon people would be more open to change if they had options to ease into the transition to new technology. It’s all about making the shift to electric cars more accessible, especially when it’s backed by science.
