Exciting Match Ahead: Brewers vs Port Vale

3 min read

Hey guys, the Brewers are back at the Pirelli Stadium and they’re all set to secure a spot in the FA Cup Second Round. They’re up against Port Vale in a First Round replay after their 0-0 draw at Vale Park. If they win, they’ll face Stevenage in an away tie on Saturday, December 2.

Fun fact: The Brewers have never made it past the Fourth Round of the FA Cup. The closest they got was in the 2010-11 season when they lost away at Burnley at that stage of the competition.

In head-to-head matches, the two clubs have faced each other 17 times since the Brewers joined the Football League in 2009. Port Vale has a slight edge in the overall record, winning seven, drawing four, and losing six of those matches.

For families, the Family Zone will be open two hours before kick-off and it’s available to both home and away supporters. There’s football, archery, inflatable fun, colouring, and more on the 3G pitch and inside the community building. Young fans can also find information on the club website about the history of the club, how to become a mascot, and fun activities like autograph and colouring sheets.

When it comes to food and drink, there’s a wide range available inside the ground, including jacket potatoes, hot dogs, burgers, chips, and the famous faggots and peas. And by popular demand, Madri beer is now available in all home bars.

The match sponsor for this game is Raygar Architectural and Engineering Supplies Ltd, an independent supplier of ironmongery, tools, and fixings based in Derby. They’ve just completed a record year and are looking forward to supporting Burton Albion Football Club, the Academy, and the Community Trust.

The Matchday Brewer, priced at £2, can be bought around the ground and in the Club Shop. It includes exclusive interviews, Look Back in Amber, Tony’s Trivia, Ask the Ref, and a detailed look at the opposition, Port Vale.

If you’re planning to watch the game on iFollow, please note that Match Passes are not available for this one.
