Renault’s Electric Revolution: The Legend Unleashed

Renault is coming out with a new electric car called the “Legend” in 2025, and guess what? It’s going to be priced at less than 20,000 euros! That’s right, you heard it. Ampere, the brains behind this electric marvel, is planning to roll out seven electric models by 2031, with a whopping one million vehicles produced every year. And here’s the kicker, they’re aiming to match the prices of combustion engine vehicles by 2027/2028 with the next-gen Megane E-Tech Electric and Scenic E-Tech Electric. That’s some serious competition, right? In 2024, Ampere is set to launch the Renault 5 at around 25,000 euros, and the electric Scenic will also make its debut. But the real showstopper is in 2025 when the Renault 4 and the Legend hit the market for less than 20,000 euros. And that’s not all, folks! Ampere has some more tricks up its sleeve with two more second-gen vehicles in the pipeline by 2031. Oh, and they’ve even given their electric platforms some cool new names to show off their independence. The CMF-EV is now AmpR Medium, and the CMF-B EV is now AmpR Small.
