Young Moroccan Entrepreneurs Get Expert Help to Kickstart Their Start-Up Dreams

2 min read

check this out! A bunch of cool entrepreneurs and experts from all over the place recently got together at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane to help out some young Moroccan entrepreneurs with their start-up ideas. It was all part of this awesome ‘Entrepreneurship Week’ that went down on November 16 and 17. The students had the chance to pitch their ideas and get some top-notch advice from the pros. They even had this thing called ‘Speed Mentoring’ where they got one-on-one mentoring, master classes, and an angel round. How cool is that? Deborah Bartlett, the Chief Entrepreneurship Officer at the university, said they’re all about helping students figure out their futures, whether it’s starting up businesses or making a positive impact on the world. The mentors were super impressed by the range of ideas the students came up with, and they were really keen to help them refine their business models. Chaimae Boulahsen, one of the mentors, was all about guiding the students in creating their business model canvas, which is a tool for outlining and designing businesses. She had some great advice for aspiring entrepreneurs too, like doing thorough market research and knowing your customers inside out. It’s awesome to see young talent getting the support they need to make their dreams a reality!
