Africa Takes Charge: Setting Up Green Banks for Climate Initiatives

African countries are tired of waiting for climate finance from the developed world, so they’re taking matters into their own hands. Egypt, Morocco, Benin, and Ivory Coast are setting up green banks with the help of the African Development Bank. Rwanda is also joining the initiative and will start lending to climate projects in 2024. It’s about time Africa took charge of its own climate initiatives!
