She was joined by Eman Al-Sabah, founder of Fablemill, who discussed the role of women in filmmaking and the creative sector. This panel discussion constituted an integral part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, an annual commemoration in Bahrain featuring various events aimed at startups and entrepreneurs.
Moreover, this event underscores the ongoing efforts of Tamkeen to empower Bahraini women and enhance their competitiveness in the entrepreneurial landscape. The ‘Riyadat Centre’, renowned for its comprehensive support in services, consultation, and entrepreneurship management, provided exposure to numerous Bahraini women who have made significant strides in their respective fields.
Since its establishment, Tamkeen has supported over 15,000 women-led enterprises and facilitated the launch of entrepreneurial concepts for more than 7,000 women. Furthermore, 407 women have received financial assistance from the Riyadat portfolio, amounting to BD9.44 million ($25.05 million).
