Australia’s Harvest Technology Group, in collaboration with The AST Group and Guerrilla Technologies, has unveiled a strategic partnership aimed at establishing a state-of-the-art connectivity infrastructure for all-domain connected operations in the defence sector. This pioneering alliance integrates Harvest’s Nodestream technology, AST’s global satellite connectivity network, and Guerrilla’s groundbreaking robotics to empower defence operations with the Internet of Military Things (IoMT). The IoMT network is composed of interconnected devices, sensors, and platforms specifically designed to gather, process, and share data, thereby enhancing situational awareness, command and control capabilities, and operational effectiveness in military scenarios. Paul Guilfoyle, the Chief Executive Officer of Harvest, underscored the pivotal role of data in contemporary military operations, emphasizing that the success of military endeavors hinges on the effective utilization of data.
