Rachel Mason, the esteemed Director of Fundraising and Foundation at Bendigo Health, expressed her elation at reaching the fundraising target for 2023. She emphasized the considerable impact of the community’s support in creating awareness and securing essential funds for the benefit of mental health patients.
A participant in the program for over a year, Ben Smith, shared that the sessions not only contributed to his physical fitness but also provided a profoundly positive and uplifting experience. He expressed his deep appreciation for the program, acknowledging its substantial improvement to his overall wellbeing.
James Long, a highly regarded peer support worker at Bendigo Health, underscored the significance of the patient transport bus, which became accessible through the funds raised in the 2022 Move for Mental Health Challenge.
