University Canada West (UCW) has recently announced several open continuing track faculty positions for the Master of Business Administration program within the Department of Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. The university is actively seeking experienced and highly qualified professionals in the field of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management to join the faculty at its Vancouver campuses.
Successful candidates will be expected to participate in a wide range of activities, including providing support to students, attending institutional meetings, and engaging in professional activities related to their disciplines both within and outside the institution. Applicants must have a proven track record of scholarly activity or research and a demonstrated history of success in teaching. Additionally, candidates must possess a relevant doctoral degree, teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, and a dedication to excellent and innovative pedagogical practices.
The positions specifically require experience in entrepreneurship, the Canadian entrepreneurial eco-system, professional startup management, and mentoring students. Candidates should also have experience in post-secondary teaching across a variety of environments, such as face-to-face, blended, and online, and a commitment to implementing active learning, experiential learning, and learner-centered approaches.
