The 5K race, charting a course through The Oaks neighbourhood, will initiate at 9 a.m., granting participants the choice to either run or walk the route. The enrolment fee stands at $25, inclusive of an event T-shirt and a commemorative medal, culminating in an awards ceremony scheduled at 10 a.m. post the race.

Concurrently, the Walk to Remember will commence at 10:30 a.m., helmed by a distinguished orator spearheading a ceremony of gratitude and remembrance. The walk, circuiting around Watson’s Christmas tree lot adjacent to the UNC Health Southeastern Fitness Center’s campus, affords participants an opportunity to pay homage to their cherished individuals.

Entailing the cornhole tournament, the proceedings are programmed to commence at 11 a.m., specifically unfolding at the UNC Health Southeastern Fitness Center basketball court, demarcated by two distinct tiers—tier I and tier II.
