The selected player of the week’s name, alongside Tulsa World’s designation, will be unveiled this Wednesday in both the Tulsa World publication and on OkPrepsExtra.com.
The nominees for Week 14 are as follows:
– Witt Edwards, Wagoner: This senior WR/LB distinguished himself by accumulating nine catches for 143 yards and a touchdown, while also contributing seven tackles and an interception during the 19-14 match against Blanchard in the Class 4A final.
– Jamarian Ficklin, Muskogee: Displaying an exceptional performance, this junior QB completed 10-of-11 passes, accounting for an impressive 235 yards and four touchdowns in the 28-26 victory over Stillwater in the 6AII final.
– Moses Fullingim, Lincoln Christian: The senior RB excelled with 35 rushes for 228 yards and three touchdowns in the 48-28 triumph over Heritage Hall in the 3A final.
– Kordell Gouldsby, Bixby: This talented senior WR/RB/CB made a lasting impact with 334 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns, coupled with four tackles during the 49-21 win against Jenks in the 6AI final.
– Holden Thompson, Stillwater: The senior RB displayed an impressive performance with 35 rushes for 199 yards and a touchdown against Muskogee.
– Jett Turner, Bixby: This senior RB delivered a noteworthy performance with 25 rushes for 235 yards against Jenks.
