London’s Culinary Scene Set to Sizzle with Exciting Restaurant Openings in 2024

London is set to experience a flurry of exciting culinary openings, with the trend expected to continue in 2024. This vibrant city is poised to become a haven for food enthusiasts, as Michelin-starred chefs and renowned restaurants make their mark with new ventures.

Acclaimed Korean chef Akira Back is preparing to make his debut in London with the launch of two new restaurants at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair. The first, Akira Back, will showcase a delectable menu featuring a selection of his signature dishes. The second, Dosa, will offer a unique counter-style format to showcase Korean cuisine. Both establishments are scheduled to open in 2024.

In addition to this, the famous Ibiza beach club, Blue Marlin, is expanding its presence to London with the introduction of a new members-only club at the Mondrian Shoreditch hotel. Complete with a sushi bar and a rooftop pool, this new venue is expected to become a luxurious hotspot in the city.

Finally, the revival of noughties favourite Gilgamesh in Covent Garden, along with the launch of Effie, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at the revamped Whiteley’s building, are set to further diversify London’s thriving dining scene in 2024.
