The Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship (CCE) has recently unveiled a new centre in Marrakesh as part of a collaboration between the U.S. Department of State and the Near East Foundation, with support from the Elsa & Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation and Islamic Relief USA.

The establishment of the CCE Hub is designed to provide climate-focused entrepreneurs with the necessary tools, community support, and resources to expand their ventures and introduce low-carbon solutions to the market.

According to a press release issued by the U.S. State Department on Thursday, the CCE Marrakesh chapter is expected to engage with numerous companies from the MENA region over the next 24 months.

In addition, the CCE Hub recently hosted an incubator for emerging entrepreneurs from December 11 to 15, featuring interactive workshops, coaching sessions, and presentations by innovative start-ups.

The primary objective of the CCE Hub in Morocco is to address global challenges such as the climate crisis by fostering an environment where innovation aligns with the creation of positive environmental and social impact.

Aligned with its mission, the CCE was unveiled by the U.S. State Department at COP26 in Glasgow as a public-private partnership with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship focused on climate solutions and contributing to economic empowerment in developing countries.
