Staying Ahead: The National Security Agency Emphasizes the Importance of Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent

In a recent panel discussion organized by the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) Army Gen. Paul M. Nakasone underscored the paramount importance of talent in meeting the rapidly evolving demands of the future. The NSA’s efforts to strengthen its workforce have been evident in its largest hiring surge in three decades, with the objective of recruiting over 3,000 new employees by the end of 2023. In a significant milestone, the group released a report on AI security infrastructure in partnership with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the United Kingdom’s Government Communications Headquarters, and other organizations.
