Core Health & Fitness Hosts 3rd Annual StairMaster 9/11 Memorial Climb

On Sunday, September 10th, 2023, Core Health & Fitness will once again be hosting the StairMaster 9/11 Memorial Climb at the Core Health & Fitness Innovation Center in Lake Forest, California. Now in its third year, this event is dedicated to honouring the 343 firefighters who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty on September 11, 2001.

The purpose of the StairMaster 9/11 Memorial Climb is to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice while celebrating the bravery and dedication of all those who serve their communities. This year, Core Health & Fitness is extending an invitation to its customers and partners to join in hosting their own climbs in support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF).

Supporters of the event take part in climbs that occur during September weekends in various locations across the country. These climbs involve ascending 110 floors, representing the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, as a way to remember and honour the fallen firefighters. Participants are given the picture and name of one of the 343 to carry with them as they climb, and upon completion, they read the name aloud and ring a bell to ensure that they are never forgotten.

The StairMaster Memorial Climb is unique in that it allows participants to climb side-by-side and engage with supporters on the sidelines. The event has received widespread support from Core Health & Fitness team members across the United States, as well as from their global team in Germany and the United Kingdom.

To further raise awareness and fundraise for the NFFF, Core Health & Fitness has partnered with the Fire Up Program, bringing in members of LA Fire, OC Fire, Redlands Fire, and Redlands PD. The company has already raised over $13,000 and is dedicated to growing support and awareness for this important cause.

In addition to the StairMaster Memorial Climb, Core Health & Fitness has made significant strides in the fitness industry, including the acquisition of companies like Jacobs Ladder and Wexer Holding. The company has also launched its latest indoor cycling bikes – Schwinn X and Z – and introduced innovative fitness solutions to meet consumer expectations.

The StairMaster 9/11 Memorial Climb is a powerful and meaningful way to pay tribute to the fallen firefighters and to support the NFFF. Core Health & Fitness invites individuals and fitness facilities to join in this important cause and help make a difference in their communities. If you are interested in participating or supporting the event, please reach out to Core Health & Fitness for more information.
