Reserv, an AI-driven insurance Third Party Administrator (TPA), is pleased to announce the appointment of James Maddox as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Maddox, co-founder of Mya Systems, brings a wealth of expertise in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to his new role, with the aim of revolutionising the adjuster experience through the integration of Large Language Models and modern architecture. Since emerging from stealth mode in July 2022, Reserv has experienced rapid global growth, currently employing over 100 staff. Maddox’s responsibilities will encompass the enhancement of policyholder experiences, the provision of efficient and seamless services, and the delivery of valuable insights to carriers and underwriters. CEO CJ Przybyl anticipates that Maddox’s contributions will lead to scalable operational efficiencies, establishing Reserv as a crucial data hub within the insurance industry.
Before joining Reserv, Maddox co-founded Mya Systems, which developed innovative recruiting automation solutions using conversational AI, subsequently becoming Head of LLM Agent R&D following the company’s acquisition by StepStone, a prominent global job platform. In his new role at Reserv, Maddox’s focus will be on leveraging LLMs and modern architecture to transform the adjuster experience from a manual process of one-way data input to an interactive process. This transition will not only facilitate automation, but also ensure compliance, training, and reporting to support Reserv’s remarkable speed of expansion.
“We are delighted to welcome James as our CTO,” stated CJ Przybyl, CEO and co-founder at Reserv. “His expertise in implementing cutting-edge AI algorithms, together with our unified data captured by a completely SaaS-based architecture, will empower us to achieve scalable operational efficiencies. This is already resulting in an improved customer experience and the generation of more data than any other TPA. We are well on our way to realising the vision of TPAs as the vital data hub of the industry.”
The addition of James Maddox to the team at Reserv marks an exciting new chapter for the company, with his extensive knowledge and experience poised to drive innovation and growth within the organization. His expertise in the field of AI and technology will play a pivotal role in reshaping the insurance industry and enhancing the services provided by Reserv to its clients and partners.
