Hilton recently introduced its new global program, Hilton for Business, with the objective of simplifying travel management for small- and medium-sized businesses. The programme is designed to enhance the booking and management experience for business customers and their employees worldwide, while also offering Hilton Honors benefits.
The introduction of Hilton for Business is in response to the growing demand for such services. According to Hilton’s data, 75% of small- and medium-sized business customers handle their own business trip bookings and manage their travel arrangements in-house. Additionally, Hilton’s 2024 Trends Report highlighted that 80% of global travellers consider it important to be able to book their entire trip online.
Chris Silcock, president of Global Brands and Commercial Services at Hilton, expressed the company’s commitment to innovation and providing a superior hotel experience for every stay occasion, including small- and medium-sized business customers. He emphasized the need for a travel platform that meets their unique needs and reduces friction points, from booking to billing.
Hilton for Business offers several benefits for small- and medium-sized businesses, including portfolio-wide discounts across nearly 7,400 properties globally. Additionally, the program provides travel rewards for small businesses and their employees, such as Hilton Honors Bonus Points for completing their first hotel stay and additional points for every 10 nights stayed.
Furthermore, the program offers rapid onboarding, allowing business owners or travel administrators to register themselves and their companies through their own Hilton Honors account. This grants access to a comprehensive, self-service travel booking and management system, as well as the ability for individual travellers to create separate personal and business travel profiles within their Hilton Honors account.
Another notable feature of the program is its seamless program management, where business owners have full control and can delegate program management to any number of administrators. They can easily add employees to the program and track their upcoming and historical spend.
In addition to Hilton for Business, the company also announced plans to roll out two new digital innovations early this year. The first initiative aims to enhance the travel experience for small- and medium-sized businesses, while the second involves the expansion of Hilton’s events booking capabilities, allowing customers to book meeting packages for up to 35 attendees directly on Events.Hilton.com.
In conclusion, Hilton for Business is expected to revolutionize the business travel industry, making it more seamless and rewarding for small- and medium-sized businesses. With its array of benefits and user-friendly features, the program is set to meet the unique needs of business travellers in today’s dynamic landscape.
