Version 1, a digital transformation company, has ceremoniously inaugurated a new technology hub in the bustling city centre of Birmingham, as part of its strategic efforts to broaden its presence in the region. The company is set to generate around 500 employment opportunities in Birmingham, building on its existing team of over 300 professionals.
The momentous inauguration was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Enda Diggins, Managing Director for Digital, Data and Cloud at Version 1, and Ms. Emma Mitchell, UK Portfolio Director. Mr. Diggins conveyed his enthusiasm for the new technology hub, affirming, “We could not have selected a more suitable location for our new technology hub and are thrilled to announce its official opening today, ahead of schedule.” He also underscored the hub’s close proximity to the current customer base and its access to top technology talent in the UK. Mr. Diggins alluded to the impending launch of their Digital Skills Academies, aimed at delivering the utmost expertise to local customers.
The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was dignified by the presence of Henrietta Brealey, Chief Executive of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, who lauded Version 1’s investment in the area, underscoring the region’s merits as a premier business destination. Ms. Brealey also highlighted that this commitment will contribute to regional economic advancement and provide employment and skill enhancement opportunities for the local community.
