Boosting Entrepreneurship Development: A New Collaboration in Abuja

Recent collaboration between the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) and the Federal Capital Territory College of Education, Zuba signifies a significant effort to enhance entrepreneurship development in Abuja, Nigeria. The partnership aims to expand the understanding of entrepreneurship among the college’s staff, students, and the broader community in the Federal Capital Territory.

At the official signing ceremony in Abuja, Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, the Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AEA, emphasized the importance of the partnership. He highlighted that the collaboration is not only focused on improving the entrepreneurial skills of the college community but also on providing the residents of the Federal Capital Territory with the knowledge and resources necessary for entrepreneurial success.

Furthermore, Mr. Ugwuada stressed the role of entrepreneurship in addressing societal challenges such as internet fraud and kidnapping, particularly among young people. By offering support and resources, the partnership aims to guide young individuals towards legitimate and sustainable business ventures.

Mr. Ezirigwe also expressed satisfaction with the success stories of AEA’s clients and businesses, commending the forward-thinking leadership of the College and encouraging continued prioritization of entrepreneurship education.

In response, the Provost of FCT College of Education, Zuba, represented by the Director of Special Duties, Grace Tyoden, underscored the significance of the collaboration in empowering the college community. The Director affirmed the college’s commitment to maintaining and nurturing the partnership, expressing satisfaction with the proactive approach of the present leadership of the Abuja Enterprise Agency, indicating a positive outlook for the future of entrepreneurship in the region.
