Atoll Estates recently unveiled its plans for the exclusive “lifestyle destination” named Zamani Islands, to be located in the South Malé Atoll of the Maldives. This ambitious project will encompass eight islands, three distinctive resorts, and the country’s inaugural superyacht marina and yacht club, all designed by the esteemed Dubai architecture firm Killa Design.
Scheduled for its initial phase launch in spring 2026, Zamani Islands will introduce a range of private estates and mansions available for purchase. Each residence will feature multiple private pools, a dedicated spa and wellness area, as well as a personal berth within the superyacht marina, complete with full-service amenities and access to the yacht club.
Property ownership at Zamani Islands will also grant residents “unrestricted access” to the various onsite resorts and facilities, which includes three luxurious spas, one of which will be the Maldives’ very first medical spa, and an impressive 28 dining venues. Notably, the resort’s culinary highlight will be the largest underwater restaurant in the Maldives.
In its commitment to sustainability, Zamani Islands aspires to become the Maldives’ inaugural 100 per cent clean, renewable energy resort. The project encompasses a coral relocation and propagation initiative, with a proposed 70 hectares allocated for this purpose, and foresees the first resort producing half of its food requirements and meeting all its energy needs from renewable sources.
Amit Majumder and Dmitry Bourtov, the founders of Atoll Estates, expressed their enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This is a project more than two years in the making. It was our intention from the outset to conceive a resort with sustainability truly at its heart that will do good for both people and place. We are excited to share further details of Zamani Islands as the project develops.”
With its commitment to luxury living, environmental consciousness, and innovative design, Zamani Islands is set to redefine the concept of exclusive island living in the Maldives. As the project continues to take shape, the world eagerly awaits the unveiling of this extraordinary new lifestyle destination.
