The Keiki Rise programme is poised to hold a showcase aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs in Hawaii. Coen Cadinha, the visionary behind Keiki Rise, discussed with HNN’s Sunrise Weekends the importance of imparting financial knowledge and independence to the younger generation.
Having initiated his own business venture at the age of 13, Cadinha established Keiki Rise to provide a supportive platform for like-minded individuals. “It was certainly challenging, as entrepreneurship was unfamiliar to both me and my family in the beginning. However, once I was able to build connections, network, and find my own mentors, it significantly aided me on my journey,” recounted Cadinha. At 16 years old, Cadinha has taken on the role of mentoring numerous youths who have joined the programme.
The inaugural Keiki Rise Showcase is expected to feature over 10 vendors, as well as live musical performances by the renowned Kapena and exciting giveaways. The event, scheduled to take place at Kualoa Ranch on 17th February from 5-9 p.m., aims to allocate all its proceeds towards bolstering resources for young entrepreneurs.
