Legal & General Mortgage Services has made substantial strides in expanding its distribution team under the guidance of Clare Beardmore, the director of distribution and mortgage club. The team has grown from 18 to 32 members, demonstrating the company’s dedication to bolstering its support for brokers and lenders.
A pivotal addition to the distribution team is Greg Cunnington, who has been appointed as the new co-head of strategic accounts. In this role, Greg will collaborate closely with Paula Matthews, drawing upon her extensive experience as the strategic relationship director at Legal & General Surveying Services. Together, they will lead the strategic accounts team, focusing on driving the sales and distribution strategy for a select group of lenders within the Legal & General Mortgage Services distribution team.
Prior to joining Legal & General, Greg held significant positions such as chief operating officer at LDN Finance and director of lender relationships & new homes at Alexander Hall. His wealth of experience makes him a valuable asset to the team, and his appointment reflects the company’s dedication to recruiting top talent.
In addition to Greg, Alison Williams has also joined the team as the head of professional relationships. Her previous role as the head of governance at Legal & General Surveying Services has equipped her with the necessary skills and expertise to excel in her new position.
Furthermore, the strengthening of support for brokers within the distribution team is evident with the addition of Zara Bray as the head of strategic accounts, Louise Turton as the head of business development, Michelle Westley as the head of propositions, and Victoria Williams as the mortgage club lead.
