Celebrating the Success of Fresh and Fearless Founder Sara Chandran Among Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs

Sara Chandran, the esteemed founder of Fresh and Fearless based in Kingston-Upon-Thames, has recently garnered recognition as one of the leading female entrepreneurs in the UK. Her consultancy, Fresh and Fearless, is dedicated to assisting businesses in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the workplace. The inspiration for this consultancy arose during Sara’s tenure as an education officer at the University of Reading Students’ Union, where she observed the attainment gap experienced by black, Asian, and minority ethnic (BAME) students in academia.

Since its establishment in 2020, Fresh and Fearless has conducted numerous workshops, both in-person and online, addressing sensitive and complex topics including racism, sexism, homophobia, and ableism. Sara conveyed her gratitude for being included in the list, expressing, “It is indeed an honour to be recognised alongside such remarkable entrepreneurs on this prestigious list!” She also underscored the significance of acknowledging the value of diversity and inclusion in businesses, stating, “This recognition is a clear indication that diversity and inclusion are still esteemed and seen as valuable assets to businesses.”

Sara Chandran now joins an esteemed cohort of 100 female founders acknowledged as part of Small Business Britain’s annual f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100 campaign. Launched in 2017, this campaign aims to celebrate the achievements of female-led businesses across diverse industries, ranging from AI companies to sustainable fashion design firms. Michelle Ovens CBE, the founder of Small Business Britain, extended her congratulations to Fresh and Fearless and all the exceptional women featured in this year’s #IAlso100, emphasising the substantial contribution of women entrepreneurs to the UK’s economic prosperity and local communities. She also expressed her delight at the ongoing growth and success of female entrepreneurship in the UK and highlighted the need to further nurture and support this sector.

The recognition of Sara Chandran’s work and her inclusion in the top 100 female entrepreneurs list is a testament to the impact she has made through Fresh and Fearless. It also underscores the growing significance of diversity and inclusion in business environments. As we continue to commend the achievements of female entrepreneurs like Sara, it is crucial to acknowledge and support their invaluable contributions to the business landscape and society as a whole.
