Introducing: Miiro – A New Player in the Lifestyle Hotel Arena

Miiro, the emerging lifestyle hotel brand, has recently announced the appointment of its senior leadership team as it prepares to launch five new hotels across Europe in the coming years. Heading the team is Neena Gupta, Miiro’s CEO, who is assembling a team of seasoned professionals to lead the brand’s European expansion, commencing with the introduction of Templeton Garden in Earl’s Court in early 2025.

Gupta articulated, “Having spent years in the travel and hospitality sector, I have come to understand that the foundation of a brand’s triumph lies in its human capital. In assembling the Miiro team, I have diligently selected top-tier talent from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that they not only possess industry expertise but also reflect our shared values and positive corporate culture. This will be pivotal in shaping Miiro’s identity and redefining industry standards once again.”

The team brings a wealth of experience from their time at prominent hospitality firms such as IHG, The Standard, and Firmdale Hotels. Prominent members include Simon Maguire, responsible for Miiro’s learning and development initiative, and Martin Quinn, leading investment strategy in Europe. Maguire, former managing director of Luxury Family Hotels, is crafting a leading training and development programme rooted in Miiro’s fundamental values to nurture top talent within the brand.

Moreover, Miiro’s executive team includes James Hurst as head of projects, design and construction – Europe; Milad Badri as chief experience officer; Ashleigh Lasry as director of marketing; Paula Cogan as head of sales; and Mark Holland as asset manager – Europe. With such an impressive ensemble, Miiro is well-positioned to make an impact in the lifestyle hotel arena.

The brand is poised to make its debut in Paris in the upcoming summer, followed by the unveiling of a location in Barcelona a few months later. Look out for Miiro – this new player in the industry is set to make a splash!
