Vuzix Corporation, a notable provider of smart glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technology, is preparing to present its latest innovation, the Vuzix Z100™ smart glasses, at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2024 (MWC24) in Spain. Alongside Nulitics and Wideum, Vuzix will be showcasing state-of-the-art object recognition and AI-enabled software solutions at the event, which is anticipated to attract customers and technology enthusiasts from all over Europe.

The MWC Barcelona is highly anticipated this year, as it is among the most esteemed exhibitions in the connectivity industry. It will offer an outstanding opportunity for European customers to experience Vuzix’s range of smart glasses up close, known for their robustness, lightweight design, and competitive features.

The Vuzix Z100™ smart glasses garnered considerable attention and acclaim at CES 2024, unveiling a variety of features made feasible through the Vuzix Ultralite OEM platform. Weighing at a mere 38 grams, the Z100™ smart glasses are designed to be an all-day wearable smart assistant and notifications center, providing hands-free access to various functions such as social media, fitness, directions, productivity, AI, and communications.

In addition to the Z100™, Vuzix will also introduce a sports & fitness form factor model at MWC Barcelona. This version is equipped with Vuzix Incognito, a leading content privacy guard that ensures content remains invisible to others, safeguarding the user’s privacy. Furthermore, all Vuzix smart glasses can be customized with vision-correction technology built into the waveguide lens, offering improved comfort and optical efficiency.

Nulitics and Wideum will participate in the event alongside Vuzix, with Nulitics specializing in IoT 3D digital twins visualization and machine learning, and Wideum focusing on remote service technology. Nulitics will demonstrate its object recognition and asset tagging software solution running on the Vuzix Shield™ smart glasses, while Wideum will showcase its software solution that recognizes faces and applies blurring to protect identities in compliance with the EU’s GDPR privacy regulation.

According to Paul Travers, President and CEO of Vuzix, the Z100 and the sports form factor model are just two configurations in Vuzix’s range of OEM options. He emphasizes that both glasses aim to keep users hands-free and connected, whether at work or during leisure activities.

The MWC24 promises to be a stimulating platform for Vuzix, Nulitics, and Wideum to present their latest technologies to a diverse audience of industry professionals and consumers. The event will take place from February 26 to 29, with Vuzix positioned at Hall Congress Square Stand CS98.
