HWArobotics, currently exhibiting at Booth C3885, has recently made a significant impact in North America by delivering advanced shuttle automated storage and retrieval (AS/RS) technology to e-commerce logistics expert Darwynn.

In an effort to enhance their order fulfillment operations at their facility in Toronto, Canada, Darwynn sought the expertise of HWArobotics. The company aimed to tackle the increasing number of SKUs in its facilities and enhance service quality, efficiency, safety, and sustainability efforts to align with its business expansion.

The third-party logistics provider selected an AS/RS solution from HWArobotics, which comprised a multi-level shuttle system with 24 carts, 10,368 storage locations, and 6 goods lifts for their intelligent logistics centre. With the new facility handling 20,000 individual SKUs, the goods-to-person system was able to increase throughput to 2,400 bins per hour.

Sky Chen, the general manager of HWArobotics, expressed satisfaction with the project, stating that “This project delivered an efficient, reliable, user-friendly, and easily maintained multi-level shuttle AS/RS warehouse system.” He also expressed optimism about the potential for further expansion offered by the solution and looks forward to continuing the successful partnership with Darwynn in the future.
