“Love Island Star Sam Gowland Admits to Not Cooking for Three Years”

2 min read

Love Island celebrity Sam Gowland recently took to social media to reveal that he has not prepared a meal in three years, attributing this to his significant financial success. The 28-year-old reality TV personality initially gained recognition on the ITV dating show in 2017 and has since established a prosperous career through public appearances, Geordie Shore, ventures in the property market, and Forex trading.

In an open and candid Instagram post, Sam confessed, “Random fact of the day – I’ve not cooked a meal since leaving my old home in Newcastle in 2021 (Cool or bit weird I can’t work out).” This admission came shortly after he appeared in a promotional video for a trading app and bootcamp belonging to his Love Island comrade, Jonny Mitchell, known for his expertise in investment.

Despite achieving considerable professional success, Sam has encountered criticism from followers who accuse him of becoming conceited due to his fame. In a video on social media, he expressed his discontent with the UK, labelling it as “miserable, depressing, and boring”, which resulted in criticism regarding his dental veneers. Defending his bright smile, Sam stated, “people only take the p*** out of these veneers when I’m doing videos about the UK telling it like it is.”

Further elaborating on his dissatisfaction, he clarified, “Life quality abroad is so much better. In England you’re just depressed and freezing cold, you’re stressed and worried about the next bill because all the bills are going through the roof. You get no sunshine, even when it’s summer there’s no sunshine.” According to Sam, his recent move to Hungary has highlighted the significantly improved quality of life abroad, with more affordable expenses and better overall quality compared to the UK.

Sam’s outspoken commentary on life in the UK has incited controversy among his followers, prompting vigorous debates about the benefits and drawbacks of living abroad versus in his home country.

The Love Island personality’s comments have sparked discussions about the allure of international living and the perceived decline in the quality of life in the UK. While his remarks have generated differing opinions, they have sparked discourse about the lifestyle, financial, and social considerations that individuals weigh when determining where to reside.

Sam’s bold opinions and outspoken persona have once again thrust him into the limelight, with many eagerly anticipating his next venture and closely following his experiences overseas.
