Transforming Rural India: PM Modi and Bill Gates Discuss Initiatives for Women’s Empowerment through Technology

In a recent exchange with philanthropist and businessman Bill Gates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his commitment to reducing the digital divide in rural areas, particularly with a focus on empowering women through innovative programmes such as “Namo Drone Didi”.

“I am very much looking forward to that. And also to meet some of the women’s groups there,” Gates expressed.
