Opportunity for Remote Automotive External Quality Assurers

The position of External Quality Assurer entails the execution and documentation of quality assurance activities in accordance with City & Guilds and regulatory arrangements.

Successful candidates appointed as EQAs will play a vital role in offering support to centres with their industry and quality assurance knowledge. Additionally, as a City & Guilds EQA, the individuals will be responsible for maintaining effective working relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office, as well as planning and monitoring quality assurance activities in alignment with qualification requirements.

Essential criteria for applicants include holding the appropriate assessor qualification, such as D32/D33 or A1/A2, or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, as well as having achieved or be working towards the (6312-41) External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or its equivalent. Experience of working in a regulated environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to provide supportive, concise feedback to learners, assessors, and delivery staff are also required.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to undergo training for the External Quality Assurer role following a thorough review and vetting of their applications.
