Restaurant of the Year
The esteemed title of Restaurant of the Year was secured by The Lion, an enchanting dining establishment situated in East Bergholt, known for its exceptional cuisine and impeccable customer service. The judges were notably impressed by the restaurant’s dedication to incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients into their menu. Best Coffee Shop/Café
The Greenhouse Café in Felixstowe emerged triumphant in the Best Coffee Shop/Café category, impressing judges with its plant-based menu that highlights local and seasonal produce. The café’s inviting and relaxing ambiance was also commended, providing a delightful haven for diners of all preferences. Owner Alice Davies expressed her delight at the victory, conveying appreciation for the warm reception from patrons.
Chestnut & Rose in Kesgrave, Suffolk Jungle Room with locations in Metfield and Wissett, and Willow Tree Farm Café in Glemsford were recognised as finalists, each offering distinct offerings such as homemade baked goods, locally roasted coffee, and fresh, seasonal menus.
