JAL Information Technology Enters into Collaboration with FPT Software to Develop Aviation IT Systems

JAL Information Technology (JIT), a subsidiary of JAL Infotec, and FPT Software have recently entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of IT systems for the aviation and non-aviation sectors, as well as to exchange technical expertise.

The main objective of this partnership is to enhance service offerings and optimize operational costs and timelines for non-aviation business activities of JAL Infotec and JIT. This will be accomplished by leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), and cloud computing to deliver added value to their customers.

FPT Software has committed to deploying resources in Japan and its global markets to establish a dedicated team responsible for delivering digital services and solutions for JIT.

This partnership between FPT Software and JAL Infotec dates back to 2005 and has been instrumental in the development of business systems for JAL Infotec. Koyama Hideyuki, CEO of JAL Infotec, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, emphasizing its positive impact on their organization and other major customers, and highlighting the potential for strengthening ties between Vietnam and Japan.
