Tim Joslyn Takes Over as Chief Technology Officer in Paymentology

Paymentology, a leading global issuer-processor, has recently announced the appointment of Tim Joslyn as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), succeeding the interim CTO, James Letley. Tim’s extensive experience and successful track record in technology-enabled ventures positions him to bring valuable expertise to drive innovation and growth at Paymentology.

In his new role as CTO, Tim will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of next-generation technology solutions for customers and partners. With over 25 years of experience as a technologist working across Europe, he has built and exited several B2B and B2C businesses and has primarily worked in the payments industry for the past decade.

Tim has held senior technology and product roles with notable companies in the payments industry, including Worldpay, Nets, ICBPI (Nexi), Concardis, Bain Capital, and Advent International. He played a key role in advising on initial transactions and then working to transform each business for their next stage of growth. In 2017, he co-founded and served as the CTO for Pollinate, a merchant acquiring company, where he led the technology and product teams and successfully launched Natwest Tyl in just 12 months before expanding the business internationally to other banks around the world, including National Australia Bank.

Throughout his career, Tim has also held senior technical roles with Ernst and Young, Vocalink, and Old Mutual, where he led numerous post-merger integration initiatives and continued to work for private equity companies as a payments specialist advising on multiple transactions.
