ZT Automotive, the automotive portfolio entity belonging to ZT Corporate, has been making significant progress towards its transformation goals. The organization, which operates 13 locations across four states, has bolstered its leadership team by welcoming seven new executives. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening alignment across their dealerships, enhancing operational efficiencies, and improving the overall customer experience.

The recent additions to the ZT Automotive team comprise chief financial officer Danny Bass, market director Ric Moreno, regional fixed operations director Mustafa Qureshey, regional pre-owned directors Tyler West and John Haines, chief customer officer Judy Ku, and vice president of client relations Jacqueline Chen. All these individuals are seasoned industry professionals from leading dealership groups, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to ZT Automotive.

Under the leadership of Zeeshan Shaikh, president and operating partner, the company has experienced substantial growth, achieving a nearly 70 percent year-over-year increase in retail unit sales and over 33 percent growth in service revenue. Taseer Badar, chairman and CEO of ZT Corporate and CEO of ZT Automotive, has expressed confidence that with the new team members in place, the company will be able to sustain its growth goals for the benefit of investors and stakeholders.

The appointment of Danny Bass as the new CFO brings over 15 years of experience as vice president of transactional accounting for Group 1 Automotive and 10 years with Sonic Automotive as a market controller. His expertise in dealership processes and procedures is expected to bolster reporting capabilities, accounting efficiencies, and internal controls.

Similarly, Ric Moreno, with over 30 years of automotive experience, will contribute valuable insights from his time at Group 1, where he oversaw operations in North and Central Texas. Mustafa Qureshey, with two decades of experience in fixed ops, is expected to leverage his extensive knowledge from his previous roles at Asbury and Napleton Automotive Group. In addition to these leaders, Tyler West, John Haines, Judy Ku, and Jacqueline Chen bring a diverse set of skills and experiences that will further enhance the company’s operations and customer focus.

Meanwhile, HGreg, a dealership group with 31 locations across four regions, has continued its dedication to environmental sustainability by planting over 2,000 trees in Quebec through its “Buy a Car, Plant a Tree” campaign in partnership with Tree Canada. This initiative is part of HGreg’s ongoing commitment to preserving the environment and making a positive impact on the planet.

Harry Kasparian, vice president of marketing at HGreg, underlined the company’s belief that it is their responsibility as an industry leader to contribute to environmental preservation. The trees planted as part of the recent campaign will be positioned in the Pointe-au-Père area of Rimouski, supporting the protection of carbon-rich soils and the overall health of the ecosystem.

Since beginning its collaboration with Tree Canada, HGreg has facilitated the planting of over 8,500 trees, showcasing its continued dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

In conclusion, the efforts of ZT Automotive to enhance its operations and customer experience, alongside HGreg’s commitment to environmental sustainability, are positive developments that reflect the forward-thinking approach of these dealership groups. These impactful initiatives will undoubtedly have far-reaching benefits, creating a more efficient and customer-focused automotive industry, while also contributing to a greener and more sustainable planet.
