Infuse Technology Welcomes New Head of Sales and Procurement

Derby-based IT services provider, Infuse Technology, has recently announced the appointment of Simon Hulland as the new head of sales and procurement. With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, encompassing IT consultancy, engineering, sales, and procurement, Hulland’s addition to the team is a strategic move aimed at fortifying the company’s workforce and broadening its client base in the Midlands and across the UK.

Simon Hulland began his career in IT at the age of 18, serving as an IT consultant and engineer at Infuse’s group company, PKF Smith Cooper, before transitioning to focus on IT sales and procurement. His significant achievements include the establishment of a global procurement and logistics department at a UK-based IT firm, as well as overseeing the UK sales division over the course of five years.

In his new capacity, Hulland will assume responsibility for leading all sales and procurement activities, catering to both existing and potential clients. Furthermore, his role will involve the strategic identification of measures to enhance the company’s service portfolio in order to better address the needs of its clients.

In light of Hulland’s appointment, Managing Director Paul Howard expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s growth prospects, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Simon to Infuse and to propel our growth plans across the Midlands and UK. With Simon’s extensive experience in IT, sales and procurement, we are confident he will be an asset to our specialist team and instrumental to our future growth.”

Echoing Howard’s sentiment, Simon Hulland conveyed his excitement about his new role, saying, “I am excited to be joining Infuse and applying my expertise from my career so far to my new role here. Working with people, building connections and securing new business opportunities are where my passions lie. I have lots of ideas I can’t wait to implement and look forward to helping Infuse further their expansion plans.”
