The lawsuit asserts that Rivian executives made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose important information, including overstating the demand for its electric vehicles, concealing the negative impact of inflation and higher interest rates on that demand, a decrease in the number of orders in Rivian’s order bank due to cancellations and other factors, and failure to ramp up production of EVs at the rate it claimed.
