The much-anticipated Heaton Park Food and Drink Festival is poised to once again impress with an exceptional lineup of culinary experts for its third consecutive year.
Scheduled from Saturday, August 3 to Sunday, August 4, the Live Cookery Theatre promises to be a captivating experience, showcasing the talents of some of the region’s most esteemed chefs.
Commencing the festival is Haley Taylor of Fish Made Easy, an independent business owner and fishmonger renowned for her expertise in transforming fresh seafood ingredients into exquisite dishes. Following her, Brian Mellor, the consultant chef at The Monastery Manchester, and Sean Noonan of Grange Farm, Lowton, will share their culinary excellence, bringing their unique styles and techniques to the stage.
Day one of the festival will also feature the renowned Chef Marc Mole from Food Sourcery, as well as Neha Gupta, the founder of Vegilite.com, and Olayemi Adelekan, a semi-finalist of MasterChef UK who specializes in creating healthy fusion dishes inspired by Nigerian and African flavors.
The festival’s second day will see Nikita Gordon of the Vegetarian Society, Gareth Mason of Mason Management, and Chef Dave Broxton of Ameven showcasing their culinary skills and knowledge. Eva Humphries of Whole Food Warrior and Sukhmani Pantal of Sukhi Curries and Spices will also take the stage to offer their expertise in nutrition and Indian cuisine.
In addition to the Live Cookery Theatre, attendees can look forward to a live entertainer’s stage featuring family magic, circus, and comedy shows. Children’s cooking classes, a funfair, inflatables, and a diverse selection of street food from over 85 vendors will also be available for all to enjoy.
Moreover, the festival aims to give back to the community by supporting mental health initiatives, as it partners with Manchester Mind in the hope of contributing to the over £100,000 already raised for their cause.
