A recent Global Hybrid Work Study conducted by Cisco has yielded notable insights into employee sentiments regarding returning to the office and the effectiveness of hybrid work. In order to glean further insights, I had the privilege of conversing with Aruna Ravichandran, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Webex by Cisco. Ravichandran provided invaluable perspectives on the challenges of returning to the office, the advantages of embracing a hybrid work model, and the technological solutions that can facilitate a successful transition.
According to Ravichandran, businesses that embrace a hybrid work model have the potential to gain a competitive advantage by attracting top-tier talent and nurturing creativity, productivity, and employee contentment. Cisco’s study revealed that while 72% of employees express optimism about returning to the office, only 47% believe that their work environments are equipped to support hybrid work.
