The esteemed European Commission is delighted to announce the launch of the 2024 Youth Start-up Competition (YSC) in association with the European SME Week initiative. Building on the resounding success of its inaugural edition, we are once again offering our wholehearted support to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 25 who are developing innovative start-up concepts to address pressing global issues.
YSC 2024 provides a platform for aspiring innovators to present their start-up ideas centered around crucial themes such as sustainability, social inclusion, and technological advancement. Prospective entrepreneurs are invited to submit their entries before the deadline of 20th September 2024 for an opportunity to showcase their capabilities.

Presentation:
Prospective participants are required to produce a brief video (maximum 3 minutes) that outlines:
The foundation of their start-up idea.
The contemporary relevance of their concept.
A concise overview of their business plan.

A distinguished panel of judges will evaluate and select the winner based on the aforementioned criteria. The three finalists will have the honour of attending the SME Assembly in Budapest, Hungary, from November 18-20, 2024.
At the SME Assembly, the finalists will have the exclusive opportunity to pitch their start-up ideas to both the jury and the audience. Through a voting process, the most outstanding candidate will be chosen and announced as the winner.
