Michael brings a wealth of experience in the technology sector, with a career spanning over two decades, commencing as a software engineer and subsequently leading engineering teams in delivering top-tier products. His dedication to leveraging technology, processes, and teamwork to cultivate high-performing teams has been pivotal in swiftly delivering valuable products and features adored by customers.
Since joining Iventis in January 2020 as a principal software engineer, Michael has played a pivotal role in the company’s expansion, driving the development of cutting-edge technology for major events and venues worldwide. His responsibilities extend beyond product development, encompassing the implementation of processes to maximize the engineering team’s potential, making Iventis an exceptional product to work on and an exciting place for engineers.
Michael’s previous roles include serving as a technical lead at Refinitiv, contributing to the delivery of a crucial product providing real-time stock market data, and at Timico, where he established and mentored a development team from scratch, delivering next-generation web portals and backend API integrations. His extensive experience also includes positions at Bellrock Property and Facilities Management and James Dawson and Son.
In addition to his professional achievements, Michael is deeply committed to his local community. He founded Hykeham Tigers FC, a junior football club with 300 children, and is actively involved in the Scouting association, providing adventurous opportunities for young people.
