Interfood Technology has once again affirmed its leading position in the food industry in the UK and Ireland by securing the esteemed ‘Best Machinery/Equipment Supplier’ award at the 2024 FMT Food Industry Awards. This year marks a significant milestone for the company as it celebrates its 25th anniversary of delivering exceptional equipment and services to the food sector.
The highly anticipated awards ceremony, which took place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on 27th June, drew the attendance of over 250 industry professionals. Renowned celebrity chef and TV personality Michel Roux Jr hosted the event, which honoured outstanding contributions across 16 categories encompassing various segments of food production, manufacturing, and retailing.
James Sydenham, director of Interfood, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, “This marks our fifth time winning the award for best equipment supplier, but the first in the FMT Awards scheme. Any award is, of course, greatly appreciated, but it feels particularly special that it coincides with such a significant year for the business. It is gratifying that 25 years since the formation of Interfood, we receive independent acknowledgment that we are on the right path.”
Rob Unwin, managing director of Interfood, also congratulated the company’s employees and partnering equipment manufacturers, emphasizing the collective effort in maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and support. He further commended all the other award recipients for showcasing best practices in an industry that Interfood takes great pride in being a part of.
This recent triumph further adds to Interfood’s impressive track record and reinforces its position as a leading supplier of machinery and equipment for the food industry. As the company continues to uphold its dedication to excellence, it serves as an exemplary model for others in the field to follow.
