The educational initiative, slated to launch in the upcoming academic year, aims to furnish students with the vital skills and mindsets needed for success in the continuously evolving landscape of industry and entrepreneurship.
The restructured curriculum incorporates design thinking and project-based learning as fundamental teaching methodologies, offering students immersive, real-world challenges designed to address emerging global issues. It encompasses crucial topics such as Sustainability, Digital and AI Literacy, Growth Mindset, Global Citizenship, and Health and Wellbeing.
One notable feature of the curriculum is the involvement of parents in the learning process. Making use of the diverse entrepreneurial experience within the Citizens School parent community, of which approximately 13% are entrepreneurs, parents will be engaged as mentors and invited to deliver their own entrepreneurship modules in the classroom. Furthermore, industry experts from GHD’s network of clients and stakeholders will contribute their expertise to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
The collaboration between GHD and Citizens School also extends to the establishment of a pioneering Learning Lab within a new Collaboration Hub.
