Given its significance, it is an experience that should be sought after at least once in a lifetime. As the event approaches, it is advisable to consider a trip to Munich, Germany to witness the authentic festivities.
The festival commences from the last week of September through the first week of October, attracting millions of people to the Theresienwiese fairgrounds, also known as the “Wiesn.” The event caters to individuals of all ages, offering a wide array of activities ranging from family-friendly mornings to lively evenings filled with socializing, dancing, traditional Bavarian attire displays, performances, culinary delights, shopping, amusement rides, and of course, the consumption of specially brewed Oktoberfest beers served in the iconic one-liter Maß beer glass.
