With an extensive background in finance and having served as the former Head of Corporate Derivatives Trading for Bank of America, Levy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning over two decades in the financial sector to the company.
Having managed $45 billion of firm balance sheet and being recognised as the International Executive of the Year by the Executive Leadership Council in 2020, Levy is expected to make a significant contribution to Gorilla’s growth and innovation strategies with his expertise in trading, risk management, and balance sheet optimisation.
Mr Levy’s career commenced at Credit Suisse in 2000, where he honed his skills before making the transition to Bank of America in 2019. During his tenure at Credit Suisse, he held the esteemed position of head of Structured Finance for EMEA. Furthermore, he is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, an organisation of the highest-ranked Black executives in leading global enterprises.
Levy holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Harvard University and dual master’s degrees in physics and financial engineering from the University of Michigan. His experience and strategic vision closely align with Gorilla’s mission to redefine the technology landscape, and it is anticipated that his arrival will bring unparalleled expertise and a dynamic vision to the company.
