In April 2025, the Victoria and Albert Museum will host a major exhibition showcasing Cartier’s history and impact on luxury jewellery. “Cartier: A Legacy of Luxury” will feature over 350 pieces, including jewels, watches, and historical items lent by collectors and institutions, such as His Majesty The King’s Royal Collection. This exhibition marks the first significant tribute to Cartier in 30 years and is set to illuminate how the brand evolved from its modest Parisian origins in 1847 into a global icon of opulence and style.
Highlighting key pieces such as Grace Kelly’s engagement ring, a brooch worn by Princess Margaret, and the stunning Manchester Tiara, the exhibition will narrate the story of Cartier through its innovative design and craftsmanship. Tickets went on sale in December 2024 but sold out rapidly. New tickets are expected early in 2025, priced at £27 for adults, alongside the upcoming release of a companion book in March 2025.
